70-300vr w/1.4TC : These were posted for a fellow Nikonian. All handheld in early evening light. The small birds on the wire are shot from 6-8mtrs. The Black hooded Oriole at about 20mtrs. Please remember when looking at info(EXIF) that the camera does not recognize the TC. The last two are shot with 80-400vr for comparison(different day, same time of day tter light and slightly more distance. Shot over 100 clicks with the 70-300vr and these are the best. Shot 4 with the 80-400vr??? I have yet to get reasonable BIF because the viewfinder is so dark. Really have to try to pick up the bird at 70mm and then take it to 300. Needs alot more work. Cheers

24-70 : A friend asked for some photos taken with the 24-70 and and a couple of others to compare. These have not been post proccessed(except for the 100% in obvious cases). click on th 'i' for exif data. Not great photos but was in a hurry. Distance 30'. All mounted on Feisol 3371 and markins M-20. Lenses 24-70,28-70,14-24 and 70-200vr. A few hundre more photos at different mms and f-stops so if you want a particulae FL or f-stop leave a comment or send email.
